Summertime locum grant

The summertime locum grant was established to help ease the pressure some rural practices face during the peak holiday season such as an influx of patients and the increased costs in attracting and accommodating locums during these peak periods.

Criteria

In order to apply for this grant, your practice must meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • is a Pinnacle rural practice (defined as currently receiving rural funding)
  • is in a geographical location identified as a holiday destination
  • is at least 40 minutes by road to the nearest base hospital during normal operating conditions (defined by Google maps)
  • provides 24-hour care.

Application process

If your practice would like to apply for this grant, please fill in the application form (Word doc) and email it to Yazmin Dorey, senior administrator, before close of business Friday 22 November.
